Contract terms

Please read the following conditions carefully set forth by Ball Sportswear, Inc (BALL BEACH BIKES).

Bicycles, helmets and any other equipment rented from Ball Beach Bikes, hereafter referred to as RENTAL PROPERTY, is subject to the following conditions:

RENTAL PROPERTY: To only be used by one person, hereafter called the RENTER, whose name and signature appears below on this rental contract. You must be at least 18 years old. Ball Beach Bikes reserves the right to refuse rental property or service to any person.

HELMETS: All Renters are encouraged to wear helmets which are available to rent. 

LOCKS: Free cables with combination locks are available to all Renters, however, the responsibility and liability for lost or stolen bicycles and all Ball Beach Bikes property lies solely with the Renter. 

SECURITY DEPOSIT: The Renter will post a $250 Security Deposit for all rental property on a given contract in the form of a credit card assurance.  The Renter is ultimately liable for any and all financial burdens associated with his/her rental contract.  This security deposit may be used by Ball Beach Bikes to pay for any damage, unnecessary wear and tear, loss and/or theft of any and all pieces of rental property.  The security deposit may also be used to pay for any unpaid rental charges due from any rider on this contract.

RENTAL RETURNS:  Rental Property is to be properly cared for and returned promptly on the date and time indicated below.  Rental bicycles returned late are subject to a $75 late fee.  Renters must check in the same equipment that they checked out.  Bicycles are identified by serial numbers and may not be substituted at check in.

LIMITS OF LIABILITY:  Ball Sportswear, Inc shall not be liable for any loss, damage or expense resulting from the acts or omissions of any renter or any other person operating or using said rental property during the rental period, including personal injuries and property damage to the renter or any other person.  The renter further agrees to indemnify and save harmless Ball Sportswear, Inc from any loss, damage, or expense including attorney’s fees incurred by Ball Sportswear, Inc. Your signature acknowledges and agrees to the above conditions.
